Business Problem: 
Hawk Electronics had an online presence that had been stagnant since the late 1990’s, but executive leadership realized that the digital channel would be key to the company’s survival and growth in an evolving landscape for distributors.
Approach: 
Digital Bridge Solutions integrated Drupal Commerce with Hawk’s proprietary ERP system to web-enable product, pricing, customer, and order data. The new platform allows customers to browse, search, and transact with 500,000+ SKUs in Hawk’s warehouse while supporting critical B2B commerce features like payment “on account”, parent/child relationships between users and companies, and volume-based pricing. Digital Bridge also built a new-to-the-industry product configurator allowing customers to “build their own” components by selecting desired product attributes, creating purchase-able items from a universe of 50+ million potential SKUs.
Results: 
Hawk Electronics has become “relevant again” in their industry thanks to a fully transactional eCommerce catalog and the proprietary online part configurator which major suppliers are seeking to license and re-purpose.
